Children in the nursery are not expected to complete homework in the traditional sense. They will, however, once we deem it appropriate, bring home their book bag with sounds, numbers and shapes in to practise each day.
Try playing games with their cards to make it fun for them. Perhaps choose a number card and get them to count out that many toys to match. Can they find something in the house that starts with the sound card you pick? How many triangles can they see in the kitchen?
